Association of NJ Chiropractors Launches 5th Annual
“Baby It’s Cold Outside™ Statewide Food, Coat, Hat, Glove & Scarf Drive

Branchburg, NJ (November 14, 2011)

The Association of NJ Chiropractors (ANJC) today launched its community service initiative, “Baby It’s Cold Outside™”for the fifth consecutive year. The statewide campaign encourages patients to donate unwanted winter apparel in good condition as well as nonperishable food items to ANJC offices for distribution to food pantries, charities and community organizations.

With more than 1,900 members statewide, “Baby It’s Cold Outside™” allows ANJC members to serve thosein their local communities that need assistance by asking patients to help the less fortunate.

Some of the charities that have benefitted from the campaign over the past few years include Jersey Cares, the Salvation Army, Goodwill and many local community groups. Each ANJC office participating has control over which charities they choose to issue the donations to and for how long their individual drive lasts.

ANJC offices participating can set up collection bins for items in their waiting rooms where patients can make their donations.

“The ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside™’ campaign is a way for our members to impact their local communities, not just by improving the wellness of their patients, but by helping those most in need of comfort during the winter season,” said Dr. Joseph D’Angiolillo, President of the ANJC.

Those wishing to donate items can locate an ANJC member in their area by town or zip code by visiting the Association of Chiropractors website www.njchiropractors.com or calling (908) 722-5678 for more information.
