Straighten Up New Jersey
Brushing your teeth after every meal and regular flossing is a commonly accepted part of good dental hygiene. Your teeth and gums last longer and you can prevent many avoidable dental problems. Same with your spine!
Proper Spinal Hygiene
Getting your spine checked to detect the presence of nerve interference is perhaps even more important. Hundreds of New Jersey chiropractors are participating in the Straighten Up New Jersey program to promote spinal health. This free health initiative empowers you to discover new ways to improve your overall health. By investing just 2-3 minutes each day to notice your posture, balance, head carriage and other simple observations, you could be on your way to better health.
National Program
ANJC teamed up with the national program, Straighten Up America, by launching Straighten Up New Jersey (SUNJ) in order to promote spinal heath to all NJ residents. This free health initiative is designed to empower people to develop tools and techniques for improving spinal health and their overall quality of life.
More than 200 ANJC member offices signed on and became certified to teach the SUNJ program which will be ongoing. ANJC’s intention is to have New Jersey residents take 2-3 minutes each day to focus on spinal health, similar to what most do when practicing good dental hygiene by brushing their teeth and flossing throughout the day.
