Community Outreach and Current Events

New Jersey chiropractors are an active bunch, regularly looking for ways to enhance the health and well-being of everyone in our state.

Here are the programs that community-minded members of the Assocation of New Jersey Chiropractors are involved in currently:


New Jersey Chiropractic Scope of Practice Legislation 2009

A scope of practice bill is currently in the NJ Legislature to update the original scope of practice that is still in effect from 1953. The citizens of New Jersey will benefit by bringing the scope of practice of Chiropractic up to the current standards. The prime sponsor of the bill in the NJ Assembly, Majority Leader Bonnie Watson-Coleman, explains why this bill needs to be passed, now.



Straighten Up New Jersey

“Straighten Up America”® is a bold and innovative health promotion initiative designed to empower the American people toward better spinal health and an improved quality of life. This national program also serves as the prototype for an international health promotion initiative.

ANJC Members Spread the Word on Backpack Safety

As students, ready to return to school, filled their backpacks with all their new supplies, member chiropractors of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors began a statewide campaign to get kids to lighten up. Click here for additional information»
